Just check your current installed firmware in the system info, than you know it.

But i think, it should be an wave 2.

Btw, wave 2 isn't upgradable to firmware 3.x or 4.x.

There's only a upgrade firmware 4.x for the wave 3.

And when you do the upgrade from 3.x firmware to 4.x firmware, you have to install also the 4.x maps.

After the upgrade from 3.x to 4.x the old maps (from firmware 3.x) doesn't work anymore.

And sometimes it's important to do the firmware update first and then the maps to avoid incompatibility problems.

when i said version 3.x has version of the map!!! indead i didn't saw the map version, i read in some forum that if the map has version 3.x must be update to 4.x and then the new one... or i'm wrong.... n00b question

Aah, so you mean you have the very outdated maps version 3 installed?

Then you should definitely make an firmware update first.

After that you can update directly to the latest maps.

i buy this car in last week.... the firmware update has made... the map update i can't do it

I would say, download my Toolbox and make a checksum check, maybe some files missing or corrupted.

Unfortunately, this happens very often when copying.

If you have missing or corrupted files on the usb stick, my toolbox will find it.

the error, after click in install said: the actualization of map-eur fail

The problem is that Peugeot was too stupid to give a precise description of the fault.

The error messages are all fairly general and can have many causes.

But mostly it's the USB stick.

So try the checksum check with my tool.

Unfortunately I don't know, I've never looked for the initials.

But it is also difficult to get information.

Mittns just to say that the update gone well.... after make checksum with mittns tool and all files checked right, i try update in the car and gone well.... thnkx
