Sometimes the update stops at some % and does not proceed (after more then 30/45 minutes). So you have to remove the carkey and usb-stick.. The system says "Update failed 36" Don't worry. When you leave the car closed for 15 minutes or more and after the message is disappeared you can start the engine again and you will get a new message "Software update will start shortly" Put the USB-stick back. The update will , hopefully, proceed now until the end... You don't always have to disconnect the car’s battery!
