Rear door handle with keyless access

Hi there,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to install rear door handles with keyless access to 3008 II?

I found a wiring diagram from the Peugeot 508 (which has rear keyless access built in), and according to it, the rear handles are connected to pins 1 + 2 (rear left) and 3 + 4 (rear right) of the EH2 (60V JN) terminal in the BSI.

I already have two keyless door handles, both of which are fully functional — I tested them on the front doors. I’m wondering if there’s anything that needs to be activated in the BSI to make the rear keyless handles work. Is there a way to activate them at all? If not, could they be connected in parallel with the front handles?

Any help or advice would be highly appreciated!

There should be an option in bsi where you can select between 2 or 4 keyless door handles.

I remember seeing something under Door Openings/Closings.

This could also be possible, as there are only two wires.

However, I would not recommend this, because if problems arise later, it is difficult to determine whether it is the front or rear door handles.

I got a chance to test it today, but unfortunately, no luck.

I added four wires to pins 1, 2, 3, and 4 of EH2 in the BSI, then connected the door handles as follows:

Rear left door:

• Pin 1 (EH2) → Pin 1 (door handle)

• Pin 2 (EH2) → Pin 2 (door handle)

Rear right door:

• Pin 3 (EH2) → Pin 2 (door handle)

• Pin 4 (EH2) → Pin 1 (door handle)

Then I tried enabling the options "Option "Hands-free access" for the right rear side door" and "Hands-free access" for the left rear side door", but the handles still didn’t work.
Is there anything else i need to change/activate?

For those who are interested: I managed to install keyless door handles on the rear doors.

I added new wires from pins 1 and 2 in EH2 to pins 14 and 15 in IC72 (left), and from pins 4 and 3 in EH2 to pins 14 and 15 in IC73 (right), and then connected them to the door handles.

After finishing the wiring, I visited our local PSA guru, who activated this feature in the BSI. He also mentioned that rear keyless handles can be activated only on facelift models of the 5008/3008, as they have a newer BSI version that supports this feature.

Everything is now working exactly as it should, with no workarounds or issues.

Out of curiosity, I also tried connecting two door handles to a single pair of wires (a parallel connection), and it worked well, with no delays or other issues. So I believe it’s possible to connect the front and rear handles in parallel for those who cannot activate this feature in the BSI.

I heard some rumors that handles would react with a delay if connected in parallel. That's why I tested it, and that's not true.
