Calibration needed after SMEG+iV2 firmware update

    Hello there, excuse the English. I tried to use Google translate but my posts were deleted.


    I have a SMEG+iV2 system with GPS and factory JBL speakers, version 6.05.E.R6 and I’m trying to activate CarPlay. MirrorLink and WiFi is already activated. After investigation I found that I need at least Firmware version 6.1.D.R20, because previous versions have no support for CarPlay. Is this true?


    If I upgrade to this version, will then the SMEG require calibration for the Bluetooth mic? (Echoing in calls) or calibration is only needed with SMEG Version 6.3/6.4? If that’s the case, that means I can upgrade to version 6.11.A.R11, which is the last version before 6.3, providing that I can find the firmware online to download it.


    The reason I’m asking is because I’m based in Greece, and no matter how many dealerships I’ve asked, none know how to calibrate the system. Even if they know, they refuse.

    no if you just go to 6.1 willbe fine everything , calibration begin deleted betwen 6.1>>6.3
