How to connect BSI to abs pump?

  • Hi everybody ,

I have got EL5 BSI . I working on table without any problems.

I want to connect my ESP90 unit(9808958280) to bsi but Diagbox not shown. I cant connect to esp with arduino either.

I have got esp and bsi connection scheme. But i cant contact to esp.

How can i connect to esp on table?

  • It would be helpful if you tell us, which pins do you connected to the abs pump.

Do you have a pinout with the designations from the pump and list it here?

  • Although I provided all the connections according to the specified scheme, unfortunately I could not get any results.

By the way, when I connect the ABS pump to the vehicle, there is no problem. I can see it directly over the DB.

Sorry, the attached ABS file is in Turkish.

    This isn't a helpful answer.

It's also possible that you made a mistake with the pin connection.

On the photo you can't see the pins, that's why i ask you, if the connection is correct.

The schematic says you need pin 5, 11, 19 and 25 for Can and 1+30 for 12V and 14+46 for GND.

(Maybe also Pin 36 on the pump)

Are these pins correctly connected to the pump?

If yes, in my opinion it should work.

At least, you should get a response with arduino.

Of course, this only works if you enter the correct ID and you send a frame which the control unit can respond.

What does Diagbox show when you list the ECUs?

    "Unknown" or "connection error"?

  • Hi,

I did try again. This table is my pin out scheme from psa sheme.

      BSI LEXIA ABS\ESP
      60V NR P10 8
      60V NR P8 3
      60V NR P5 5
      60V NR P3 19
      60V NR P46 11
      60V NR P44 25
      60V NR P41 36
      60V NR P15 6
      60V NR P13 14
      16V BE P2 16
      16V BE P3 1
    +12V 2V 1+2 1+30
    GROUND 32VNR P32 or 60VNR 24P 4+5 14+46

    I still couldn't connect.

    Communication error. :(

  • Hmm, strange. :/

I don't know what to do next since I haven't tried it yet by myself.

Maybe the BSI is not compatible?

On the other hand, you should be able to connect to the Arduino.

Maybe the pump ecu is on standby?

  • akn33

You want be able to communicate with abs unit because you have not connected the ignition on switch on bsi they are on the blue plug i will check and tell you.

You can communicate with bsi even if you don’t set ignition on because it’s a feature when you lost your car keys .

  • 60V BR Pin 13 to Pin 32 or just 12V to Pin 32.

  • see thin post it help me to work !!!

  • akn33

If you are using a delphi bsi El3 or El5 then on the blue 60 pin connector short pin 32+33 for ignition on . If not then let us know which one you are using continental or Valeo .

  • To use org VCI you need also connect pin1 obd and other can 6-14 pin...

  • Hi. Was it possible to connect to esp/abs 90 + bsi? I put together a diagram on the table and I also can't connect

  • @akn33 Hi, did you manage to connect to esp90?Hi, did you manage to connect to esp90? I can't do it, help me?
