NAC Update funktioniert nicht - Hardware inkompatibel

Da zur Zeit alle von diesem Problem betroffen sind, wird es m.E. nach zu 99,9% an Peugeot liegen.

Entweder ist das Update fehlerhaft oder der Server gibt falsche Lizenzdateien aus.

Behalte mal eine der nicht funktionierenden Lizenzdatei und wenn es wieder funktioniert, behalte die nächste Lizenzdatei ebenfalls, dann kann man diese vergleichen.

Allerdings nur, wenn sich die Versionsnummer oder die Dateigröße des Firmware Updates ändert oder die Dateigröße der Lizenzdatei.

Ständig neu herunterladen lohnt sich erstmal nicht.

Zuerst muss geschaut werden, woran es tatsächlich liegt.

There is no need to do it step by step, you can update from any Firmware version to the latest at once. There has been a change in the latest NAC Wave2 version, the new file being slightly different in size. Try downloading the new file and try again

my wave2 is 21.06.47.34_NAC-r0 and succesfully updated maps to version 24.

Is it safe to use old firmware? I can't update it, constantly getting error "hardware not compatible"

When I try to reinstall the latest NAC Wave 2 firmware, 21.08.87.32_NAC-r1, using the same USB flash drive and license key from a year ago (when I installed this version successfully), I got a lot of errors related to expired certificates on DLT (Diagnostic, Log and Trace) spylogs:

It doesn't matter if I use the version silent released on 24 Nov (with new certification revocation list files, "*.crl") or the previous version, with or without a license key on the USB flash drive, with or without a valid data connection, I always get the "incompatible hardware" generic error. I also did try to set the date 1 year ago to no avail.

Definitely there's a problem with the digital certificates.

Ich habe mal die "alte" Lizenzdatei", die damals funktionierte, mit der neu heruntergeladenen Datei verglichen. Ergebnis: Unterschiedliche Hash-Werte, also unterschiedlicher Inhalt.

Unfortunately they are S/MIME encoded and without the key to decode it, it's not possible to look behind the license key.

Same problem here. Tried the Citroen Update app first. Let the app install everyting. Then with a new USB stick. Without result. I also tried the obtain a 'new' license key by MITTNS. That gave the same error: Version not compatible with hardware..

Very strange because I updated my parents car (C3 2018) a couple of weeks ago through the Citroen Update app, and not a single problem! Didn't even connect the car with internet as described earlyer here.

In \SWL\001315031613548831\MediaHeader folder we have MediaVersion.ini file. If we MIME decode its signature we can see that it is signed with PSA-OVIP-Code signing-G1 expiry date 2022-11-13

If we look at the same file in wave4 firmware we will see that expiry date is 2024-11-23

So wave2 firmware is signed by expired certificate?

Das würde bedeuten, dass die SW-Version 21.08.87.32 selbst ein abgelaufenses Zertifikat hat und es nicht an der Lizenzkey-Datei liegt.

Ich habe die neue abgeänderte Datei schon ausprobiert, aber das Trauerspiel geht weiter, die selbe Fehlermeldung mit mehreren USB Sticks,

mit und ohne Internetverbindung.

Vielleicht hat irgend jemand mehr Glück.

Ist aber schon ein Armutszeugnis für so einen Großkonzern kein funktionierendes Update zustande zu bringen.
